Lenskart to Launch First AI Smart Glasses with Gemini 2.5 System in Late December
Indian eyewear giant Lenskart is set to launch its first smart glasses by the end of December, marking a significant milestone in the company’s transition from an eyewear retailer to a tech-infused lifestyle brand. This launch closely follows its highly anticipated IPO on November 10, demonstrating a clear commitment to strategic upgrading.
The smart glasses, internally codenamed “B by Lenskart,” will feature the Gemini 2.5 system and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon AR1 Gen 1 platform, emphasizing practical functions such as voiceless interaction, health monitoring, and mobile payment. Through the technical collaboration with Qualcomm, the product aims to seamlessly integrate fashionable design, wearing comfort, and digital interactive experiences.
The product launch coincides with Lenskart’s initiation of a ₹72.78 billion public offering, which was oversubscribed on its first day, reflecting strong market confidence.
